About Handsy

Luke Taggart hit a brick wall when he turned 30. His dream was to make his living as an artist, but his paintings gathered dust instead of sales. His coffee shop Percolate barely paid the bills, and living paycheck to paycheck was killing his soul. Then a chance encounter with his boyhood crush offered him a way out of his financial despair, but it involved life-changing decisions not easily reversed. Plus, he might have to surrender his heart in the process.

Cast out of his home at a tender age, Joseph Carter McElroy relied on the world’s oldest profession to make ends meet. After leaving the world of hustling behind he was struggling to find a path forward, until one day the family that originally betrayed him showed up with the fortune he’d long been denied. There were strings attached to the offer, and despite the financial freedoms he’d gain, Joe didn’t think he could marry just anyone for the millions. When Luke showed up on his doorstep it was like deja vu. As teens, Luke had unknowingly triggered events that would change Joe’s life forever. Sixteen years later, the handsome artist was about to turn Joe’s world upside down again.

Handsy Review

A various story about second chances in love. What are the changes to meet your crush from childhood? Luke and Joe are best friends and a bit more. One day Joe was gone. After years they meet again. Luke and Joe both on a crossroad. They didn’t need much to pick up where they left. Only Joe’s life was hard and since he had to survive. Throughout this journey we get to know the facts and reasons why this and how all happened. “Do you believe in fate?” Luke and Joe together were heartwarming. I absolutely loved them. There is a lot of stories around them like a vicious family, a fortune, artistic talent, and hidden pasts. The main personalities were quite likable, the way they reconnect was sweet, sexy and considerate. The secondary characters were also likable except a few. One tiny point, I had my doubts with the story around the mother. It was a bit too… much? But that’s me here! The whole story was appealing written. With the right amount and balance of emotions, storytelling, pace, length and depth.

Man I am so happy for this story. I wanted to know more about Luke. Joe and him are so powerful together. The author has given us a great world filled will so many unique characters from the main ones to the secondary. So complex with emotions you can feel. Me. mouthful may still be my favorite but this one is a close second. I was given an arc but you know I’m going to buy the whole series when it’s done.
